Item Description
Chopard reference 34/1243, fit with a Swiss made automatic movement, featuring rattrapante and date functions. Displayed through a sapphire case back, housed in a 38mm case. This heavy men's timepiece presents well and fits firmly. Currently runs well, all functions work. Historically a white gold version was auction through Antiquorum in 2008 for 6840CHF while a platinum version was sold in 2005 for $11500. You may own 1 of only 25 pieces ever made, it's possible that not many exist to this day.

  • Condition of watch
  • Dial: the black dial has white font, white hands and white numerals. There is lume on the hour and minute hands. Date window is in between 4 and 5 o'clock. Overall dial is in good condition, crystal is in good condition.
  • Case: the platinum case is in good condition. The case has few light and deep scratches. The numbers present well on the case back, while the display back shows the elaborate movement.
  • Bracelet: the black leather strap has the original Chopard platinum buckle. It fits a 7" inch wrist, bracelet & buckle hold firm.
  • Movement: the Chopard runs on a Swiss made automatic movement. It was tested on our timegrapher in the crown right position with the following results, +9 to +19 seconds per day, 221 amplitude, 0.2ms beat error, 52 degree angle of lift.
  • An overhaul is recommended at buyers expense for accurate timekeeping. We offer any servicing at our wholesale cost with the purchase of the item.
