Charming Timeworn French Antique Ormolu Marble Inlaid Miniature Apprentice Piece Bombe Jewellery Cabinet.

A much sought after, precious and rare piece. Louis XV style - circa 1900 artisan meuble de maitrise created to show the skills of a cabinetmaker's apprentice. A detailed model of marble top, bombe shape, ormolu detail, intricate marquetry, 2 drawer wooden cabinet. Likely mahogany?

I have owned and loved this piece to display my miniature bears as a vignette. This piece would display beautifully in a Brocante styled room or in a vanity.

Size: 11 inches width across the marble top
10 inches height
7 inches depth

Condition is antique - timeworn and endearing. Please study pictures. It is generally in lovely condition but there are a few minor flaws as you would expect in something handcrafted and so old. There are a few chips to the wood, E.g. Right-back-facing leg, top-left-facing corner of drawer, left-side-facing top corner, right-back-facing top corner near marble top. The ormolu detail on the drawers are a little loose and would benefit tightening.
