In the first jet air war in history, USAF F-86 Sabre pilots jousted daily with Soviet, Chinese, and North Korean MiG-15 fighters in desperate air combat over "MiG Alley" in Korea. This US Air Force USAF Korea REAL McCOY F-86 SABRE PILOT B-15B NYLON FLIGHT JACKET is a top of the line MODERN REPRODUCTION by the famous Real McCoy Clothing Company. It's in very good condition, with a tear and several lines of nicking to the lower left sleeve, a small bare spot in the bottom front left edge of the collar, some scattered dark soiling to the lower front and the lower sleeves, some dark soiling at each side of the interior upper front placket, a small area of dark soiling at the interior lower left side, two small surface nicks at the middle left back, a small spot of dark soiling at the upper back right sleeve, and with some scattered wear evident (most pictured). Otherwise, the jacket is in fine shape, with no other damage to the tough OD nylon construction. Most interestingly, it features a thick, warm light brown mouton collar and padded OD nylon button throat latch, sports a fully functional "TALON" darkened brass front zipper with a brown leather pull, and bears the classic full color "winged star" decal of the "U.S. AIR FORCE" at the left shoulder. It's a Size 44, carries the traditional "TYPE B-15B / REAL McCOY CLOTHING CO." black and gold replica nomenclature label at the inside neck, and boasts a brown leather oxygen mask clip tab at the left chest, commo wiring snap-up pass through tabs at each side of the chest, snap closure slash entry lower front "hand warmer" pockets, OD knit cuffs and waistband, a "TALON" zippered pen pocket at the upper left sleeve, and a "winged star" outline stamping at the upper back lining.
