Cashmere comes from goats and is a rare natural fibre of limited supply with a history of one of the oldest and finest natural fibres. The raw Cashmere fibre orders comes from these goats and is gathered by hand combing the delicate fine undercoat of the goat in the spring of each year. This fine fibre provides insulation and warmth for the goats from the extreme winter climate they experience though the winter. Scottish traders imported raw fibres to create Cashmere knitwear that has become famous throughout the world.
