Caddy Motion Golf Trolley In Car Battery Charger & Cradle,New Boxed,as seen on Dragons Den.

Caddy Motion – the in-car golf caddy battery charger that had the Dragons’ Den hard-men baying for a share of the action – has made a key product enhancement, See: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8R6XHvoiRzw.

Due to the fact that the Caddy Motion inventors are tidy-minded and conscientious auto electricians, the original product was intended to be effective at keeping caddy batteries charged up, but also to be design-efficient. The battery dock originally was intended to be screwed to the floor of the car boot and hard-wired into the vehicle’s electrics. This is still easily achievable, but the Caddy Motion now has a new trick…

Plug & play

A 12v ‘cigar lighter’ adaptor can be used(not included) making it  plug & play capacity too.

Caddy Motion director John Mooney says the addition was made as a result of feedback from the club professionals who sell the Caddy Motion to members and visitors.

“The Caddy Motion charger appeals on many levels – not least of which it’s the only product of its kind available,” says Mooney. “But everything from the compactness of the dock to its price point means that golfers are quite likely just to pick it up straight away because it meets an undoubted need among powered caddy-owners.

“Players come in to the proshop after 18 holes; their trolley has done its job; and instead of thinking, I mustn’t forget to take the battery into the house and plug it in as soon as I’m home they see the Caddy Motion and realize they can get their battery charging as soon as they get into the car, but only if they can power it up straight away. Now they can.”

For keeps or as a stopgap

The docking unit is small enough to inhabit the passenger footwell, for example, depending either on how long it will need to be charging the battery, and/or inconvenience to passengers. As a stop-gap measure, though, it can always be deployed this way until the vehicle’s next service or a convenient visit to the local auto-electrician to have it fixed in the boot and connected to the vehicle’s + cable (e.g. the battery connector or fuse box).

Then again, there is a growing number of SUV-cum-estate-car models available, that have these 12v sockets in the boot as standard, allowing golfers the further option of plug & play and having the docking / battery stowed out of sight.

So it’s efficient, convenient and eco-friendly,sells for: RRP is £99 or €129.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------                              The Caddy-Motion in car charging system charges your golf caddy cart battery without having to remove it from your vehicle after a round of golf. Once you have fitted the Caddy Motion cradle to the boot of your car, you simply lift the battery from the caddy cart, into the battery cradle and secure it by way of the retaining strap supplied with the system.

The battery will start to charge when the vehicle engine is started. Professional installation recommended
