Vintage Nikon Camera Strap Shoulder/Neck 'pad'

Up for bids is this vintage Nikon shoulder/neck 'pad' for the thin type leather camera straps. Those who have one of the original leather straps know that they were notorious for biting into the user's neck, especially when weighed down with big heavy lenses. While there wasn't a tremendous amount of surface area or padding with this, it was an improvement. You simply feed the strap through the 'pad'. The underside provided a bit of grip to keep the strap on your shoulder/neck
