Patagonia Down Sweater Jacket

From Patagonia's down range designed for maximum comfort for the freezing dark months. The outer shell is made from 100% recycled polyester, which is both Bluesign approved and woven in a ripstop fashion to ensure both maximum protection and good will. The shell is then given a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish to help protect the inner down from the nasty winter climates.

The inner goose down is completely tracable from shop floor, back through the factory and to a parent farm, to ensure their materials are fully ethically farmed. Happy birds make happy feathers. This down is stuffed into the jacket with 800-fill-power. I'm no expert on downage but that sounds like a lot of fill.

The jacket itself features elasticated cuffs and a drawstring hem to personalise the fit and the horizontal quilting allows more freedom of movement without sacrificing draft-protection. Two hand-warmer pockets feature Vislon zippers and a third security pocket on the inside can double up as a stuffsack with a carabiner clip-in loop.

Every winter we made a tactical decision as to what jacket to wear in the warehouse during the freezing cold and long, oh so long, Christmas shifts. This year, I've gone with the Down Sweater.
