What we check

All of our frames are tested to ensure they go out to you in as best mechanical condition possible and are accurately described. Here is the checklist showing what each of our frames goes through before we offer them for sale to you:

We check for any dents, dinks or cracks and detail any issues above if present.

We check the bearings and bushes for play and excessive wear, which we will mention and change if need be.

We check dropouts and hangers are straight.
 

BB threads are checked to ensure that its ready to be built up when you get it. If there is a shock present we check its functionality and provide an oil / seal change if required. Finally we take all relevant measurements and provide them in the convenient table above. At a quick glance you can use our 'visuals' and 'mechanics' score bars to give you an idea of all round condition.
