This auction is for the Pegasus Albatros Fighter Series aircraft model Kit No. 1027: World War One Austro-Hungarian fighter aircraft Albatros DIII (Oef). This is the Austro-Hungarian variant of the German Albatros DIII, a superior version of the German fighter. The box is open, but the model kit itself is still in its factory-sealed bag, along with a decal sheet, as seen in the photos above. Rare kit to find in this condition. The box is in very good shape, with some residue, probably from the original price tag, on one end flap. There is a painting guide on the back of the box.

The photographs above are of the actual model being sold.

Shipping will be discounted for multiple purchases shipped in the same package; international buyer should contact seller for shipping cost before bidding.

Additional information for potential international buyers: Purchases will be completed by direct mailing by seller. Unless otherwise agreed, package with total value less than US$100 will be mailed as U.S. Postal Service First Class International Package. The shipping cost for this service, for a single model, will range from about US$10 to about US$15, with the exact cost depending on the country of destination. Insurance is *not* available for this class of mailing, and I cannot provide a replacement or refund for an uninsured item in the unlikely event that it is lost or damaged in transit; however, I've mailed quite a few packages to destinations outside the U.S. by this means, without problems. Purchases of US$100 or more, to be shipped in a single package, will be mailed via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail International, with insurance. I'm happy to provide a better estimate of direct shipping costs to specific countries; please message to inquire.
