The Vivid subchassis and armboard brings life and vitality to your LP12 whilst still retaining the mid range warmth it is so famous for.
The Vivid armboard is superbly machined and polished from a single solid piece of 10mm black acrylic to the same dimensions as the original LP12 arm board and is fixed rigidly to the subchassis with brass inserts and bolts. Resulting in an extremely rigid support for the tonearm, and a better torqued fit to the subchassis. The Vivid subchassis is manufactured using CNC machinery from 10mm rigid acrylic with high specification aluminium spring and bearing supports, which gives a much improved fixing for the LP12 springs grommets and bearing housing. The combination gives a huge performance increase, with the sound now presented in a clear and striking manner.
After trialling and prototyping many different materials and designs, we found that acrylic manufactured and used in the way which we have developed delivers unsurpassed resonance control and gives a clean and clear sound stage with attack, detail retrieval and control of unwanted colouration.

Armboards are cut for Linn and Rega - other arms are available by request, please ask.
Rebuild Services
This listing is for the parts only, however there are two ways in which we can apply the Vivid subclasses and armboard to your LP12. Please contact us for a rebuild cost, inclusive of setting up your LP12.
1. We can collect your boxed LP12 (via UPS) which will be delivered to our workshop where we will carry out the upgrade. Upon completion, we will take payment and re-deliver your LP12 back to you. For a small charge, we can supply you with a box and packaging if you do not have any and arange collection from you with our chosen courier, UPS.
2. We offer a rebuild service where you can visit our premises in Chesterfield and wait in one of our demonstration rooms whilst your LP12 is given the Vivid subchassis and armboard upgrade.
