Capitol Records Factory sealed STEREO LP is in excellent condition with no seam or edge wear, no corner bends, some light shrink wrap wear from age, two factory shrink wrap breathe holes on front, two factory breathe holes on back, Stereo needle information in the box on the back cover as is correct for the very first STEREO pressings, a RARE Beatles album in excellent condition. This great LP is fully sealed but you can easily see the Circa 1965 Capitol Records green inner sleeve through the sealed shrink wrap. Stereo Beatles LP' manufactured from 1964-1967 are significantly more rare than there mono counterparts. In the early 1960's most people had mono record players so less stereo LPs' were manufactured however, this trend would reverse around 1967 when Stereo became the norm in the industry. Any creases noted along the top is typical of Capitol LP covers in the 1960's a result of the manufacturing process used at the time. Yellowing is also commonly seen on the white portions of Capitol covers due to chemical changes in the glues, paper and cardboard used at the time which contribute to any imperfections noted. Also, quality control at the record pressing plants in the 1960's were less than perfect as any collector of vintage LPs' can tell you, covers cut incorrectly, glued on crooked, upside down or off center, exposed cardboard corners etc. This is also why we love the old style LPs' we remember and cherish, imperfections and all. LP cover manufacturing techniques would greatly improve fifty years later. This Classic Beatles LP is now over 50 years old, hard to find clean and bright, fully sealed as this example.
