Up for sale this classic Vietnam era US Army M-65 field hooded jacket in good second hand condition. It was made under a purchase order dated 1972 by one of the well known contractors of the time, So-Sew Styles, company that made M-65 jackets at the same time than Alpha Industries, John Ownbey, etc. So-Sew Styles is not in business any longer, as far as we can tell.

The jacket is size Medium Regular. Actual measurements when flat on a desk: 21" across 24" across the chest, pit to pit; 25' from shoulder seam to edge of cuff (cuffs folded inside the sleeves, not loose as in the pics); 20" shoulder to shoulder across the front of the jacket; 30" from collar seam to hem along the back.

The M-65 jacket became a fashion icon thanks to several classic Hollywood movies, among them Taxi Driver (Robert DeNiro); Serpico (Al Pacino), and First Blood (the first Rambo movie, Sylvester Stallone).
