Up for auction is a vintage
Campagnolo Chorus 8-speed groupset in used to good condition. Please see the pics and judge yourself. The overall condition and technical condition is good and this groupset is good for many more miles. Optically there are a few signs of use and age, but it is still a nice group.
The offer contains:
Crankset: Good to very good condition. There are only very little scratches. The chainring teeth show only little wear. 170mm. Large chainring 50 teeth. Small chainring 40 teeth. All Campagnolo. Arms marked with 1/1, 0/7 resp. 6/0, 1/2. There are standard Campagnolo crankscrews included. Please judge yourself.
Front derailleur: Used condition with a few signs of use and age. There are a few scratches inside the cage. 2 steel nuts show some patina. Its complete. Braze on.
Rear derailleur: 8-speed, used to good condition with regular signs of use. There are minor scratches at the body and a few more at the cage. Technically fully working. The pulleys are also fully functionable. The screw where the shifting cable is mounted shows a bit of patina.
Braking- / Shifting- Levers: Campagnolo Chorus 8-speed. Used to good condition with a few scratches at the blades and a bit of wear to the rubber hoods. Please see pics. The rubber hoods are still soft.
Brakes: Campagnolo Chorus brakes in used to good condition. Low milage. The steel screws show a bit of patina and the top nut of the rear caliper is not original. The brake pads have about 70% of the thread left.
As a description is always influenced by a personal opinion I made a couple of supersize pics that help you to judge the parts yourself. You will get what you see on the pics!!
The parts have been cleaned but not polished, there are still traces of dirt here and there. It is a used set, with signs of use and age, but the overall condition is in my opinion not perfect, but still good. Please check pics for details and judge yourself.
