MODEL DESCRIPTION:  The Wenger Everest is a retired, 125mm locking-blade Swiss Army knife with a locking blade, wood saw, pliers and basic tools. Most of its tools are oversized, but the pliers are the same size as the one on 85mm models. That leaves enough room for a short, end-mounted Phillips screwdriver in the same layer.  This tool was part of the first generation of Wenger Ranger lockblade knives, which used a sliding button (usually red) to unlock the blade. You can also reach in and shift the lever lock with a fingernail.

This model is now retired, and becoming increasingly rare.  It is too bad to see the Wenger pliers fading away, since they are better than the Victorinox tool in many ways.

The Wenger Everest knife is 125mm (5") long, 30mm (1.2") wide, and 23mm (7/8") thick. It weighs about 184.1 grams (6.5 oz), and contains the following tools:

  • Large Locking Blade
  • Bottle Opener with Screwdriver Tip
  • Can Opener
  • Wood Saw
  • Slip-Joint Pliers
  • Phillips Screwdriver (rear-mounted)
  • Awl
  • Key Ring
