This elephant and baby bronze statue was a great vintage find!  I believe that the statues are bronze, they aren't magnetic and I found only one of these that sold in the past that described it as bronze as well.  There is ornate detail to the elephant's bodies, the wrinkles are defined and this was made well.  It has a patina look to it, the mama elephant appears to be trumpeting with the baby walking along at her side.  There are normal no real signs of usage -elephants are great.  One of the tusks on the mama is less sharp than the other, but I believe this is how it was made.  Please look closely at the pictures.  It measures 6 3/4" in total height by 4" wide across.  The mama is 6 5/8" high by 6" from trunk to tail, baby is 2 3/4" high by about 3 1/4" from trunk to tail.
