This is a used Cummins VP44 Diesel Fuel Injection Pump. It should fit a 98.5 to 2002 Dodge P/U with an automatic transmission and standard output. Be sure to cross reference the pump number, 0470506027, with yours.
I have a video of the pump running on a BT 5.9 engine. The pump works. Please don't buy the pump if you are not sure why yours won't start. I have been in this business a long time and have seen lots of 'mechanics' buy an expensive part and then return it when it wasn't the problem after all. Do your troubleshooting and be sure you need it.

These pumps usually fail because the lift pump is not keeping up with demand. Be sure to check the lift pump carefully. If it is marginal, a new pump will go out fairly quickly.
The images do not show a shaft key. The pump will come with the correct shaft key.
