A brand new unworn SNKL05K1 that has been carefully modified with the addition of:

-Dagaz Big # superluminova dial.A classic pilot/military dial pattern.A semi-matte black finish with a very thick multi-layered superlumimova.A big 3-6-9-12 printed on the dial.Date window between 4-5 o'clock.This has to be one of the easiest dials to read and the lume(see last photo) is very bright.

-Field spec hands set in white.All x3 hands are lume filled.These compliment the dial perfectly having the same 'shade' of white.The lume on the hands is also a perfect match for the lume on the dial.

-The original 20mm stainless steel strap has been replaced with a quality black leather 'Havana' strap.These are lined with sealed edges with a thick quality feel.The lug width is the same as the Sinn 556 models.

The SNKL model has a case 38mm in diameter-a mid size case that sits nicely on the wrist.This has a crown at 3 o'clock that is more substantial than some of the other Seiko 5 models.The crown,however,is not totally exposed and is protected by extensions sweeping from the case.The case is approx 10mm thick and is part polished/part brushed 316l stainless steel.The movement is Seiko's own 21 jewelled 7s26c-a non hacking fully automatic movement.Sweeping second hand mainspring wound by a rotor arm.

This is a very easy watch to wear-not too big and perfect for the smaller wrist.Perfect with a suit as the case is not too thick.The dial is very easy to read at a glance and the lume means you will have no problem with this in the dark.Again,date window,easy to read as is white.

There are a number of Seiko 5 Sinn homages available on eBay but this particular case model closely resembles the 556 with the crown at 3 and the sweeping crown protection.This captures the essence of these high quality watches at a fraction of the cost.

An added bonus is that these watch cases are rated waterproof to 30m(100ft) so you can fit a NATO band and although strictly speaking 30m only means 'splash resistance' I've had no issues with these getting wet!!

Watch supplied with original stainless steel bracelet-please advise if you wish this fitted on shipping,spring bars are easily removed.
