For sale is this good,antique,French made,Desk top pen and ink stand.The stand is made of steel,with brass ink wells and plated carrying handle.The steel has a moulded design of mythical creatures and heraldic emblems,the ink wells are designed in a similar way. The base ,is marked "Depose and 93.
The stand has small brass feet-the ink wells have removable inner liners.
Its claim to fame ,is that it appeared on the desk scenes in a previous TV series of Poldark.
It is in very good condition,although the handle will need tightening up or the modern screws re-placing.
