Canada Post is not subsidized by the taxpayer as most other postal systems are. We run our PO to break even or make a small profit. This is why our postal rates are a bit higher than others.

How an item is packed and shipped gives you some idea of the high quality standards of the seller and their products.
All items are carefully packed in foam padded crush proof acrylic jewelry boxes and double protected in a padded packet and shipped within two days of payment.
Canadian destinations are tracked and fully insured.
US destinations are tracked and fully insured.
Shipments with this degree of care do not qualify for registered mail rates and cost more but the objective is fast and intact delivery.

BORDER CUSTOMS
Items shipped outside Canada are subject to Border Customs inspection on arrival at destination country. Most items flow through within a reasonable time but some can be delayed for up to four weeks at the whim of Customs inspectors.
Customs delays are beyond my control.
Some buyers have blamed me for Customs delays and given me bad feedback for late shipping even though they knew I shipped within two days. This is unreasonable and damaging to my business so I ask you to keep this in mind if you have a customs delayed item.
