(Please note that these are not direct replacements for the Linkwitz LX-521 baffles, but rather my own design inspired by SL's work. They are designed to accommodate the drivers mentioned below in a DIY project)

Up for sale is a pair of prototype open baffle frames and stands. The baffle on the left shows the front view and right shows the rear view. These are constructed of 3/4 void free plywood with an unfinished  maple veneer. The front woofer and midrange cutouts are rounded over, and are designed for rear mounting. The tweeter cutouts are straight through holes with no recess and desiged for front mounting. Design was CNC cut. Some screw holes to test/mount drivers are present as seen in the picture. Surfaces are unfinished but lightly sanded. Note that these are DIY prototype quality so there may be minor imperfections, but will produce a nice presentation overall. Auction includes two baffles and stands, 6 zinc screws and 6 rubber washers only. You will need to supply your own drivers, terminals, speaker mounting screws, etc.

The design was built to accept the following drivers which are not included:  Tweeters: Dayton AMTPRO-4 Air Motion Transformer-front mounted; Seas FU10/MU10 midrange-rear mounted; Peerless 10" SLS woofer-rear mounted. Other combinations may work but I suggest you purchase the baffles first and measure clearances to ensure a proper fit.

Baffles and stands separate for shipping and will require reassembly with 3 screws each, included. Will be shipped FedEx Ground or Home Delivery.

Payment requested within 48 hours of purchase.
