DESCRIPTION
Offered is this superb Hammered Silver Irish Groat of King Henry 8th. It is of the Irish Harp issue and shows the intials H & I either side of the Harp indicating the issue celebrates Henry and his wife Jane Seymour. Coin dates c 1540. This coin has no chips or cracks and is on a lovely flat flan. It is a beautiful and rare coin in lovely condition but could do with a clean. Please see the high res images of this coin to determine condition and full ID for yourself.
