This 7-pc Tama drum set dates from 1982.  I have owned it for about half that time.  It never left my home studio but the finish does have scratches & dents from previous owner(s).  It is 100% functional and, from a few feet away, looks very good.   The 1983 Tama catalog says this kit is built with 8 ply (6 ply Mahogany + 2 ply Shina) shells finished in semi-gloss lacquer.  The Brazilan Grain finish is rather rare.

The sizes are:22x14 Bass Drum w/ spurs & mounting post for two rack toms

16x16 Floor Tom w/ legs

12x11 & 13x12 X-Tras Toms (power toms)

8x9 & 10x9 X-Tras Toms (add-on pack).

14x5.5 Chrome Steel Snare (no badge, brand unknown)

Every drum has both heads.  The toms all have Evans Onyx batter heads and clear bottom heads.  Power toms were popular with the 80's hair bands and this kit produces those deep, dark tones of that period quite well.

All hoops, lugs, and tension rods are present, although the bass drum hoops are not originals.  No stands, pedals, or cymbals are included besides the post pictured on the bass drum.  Please see my other listings for other drum items.
