IBM Palm Top PC 110 in good working condition with many accessories. This laptop broke all records in 1995... Smallest laptop, first with SSD, first with Compact Flash slot and so much more. This costed an arm and a leg in 1995 and IBM still lost much money on these since they spent a fortune on development and just sold them in Japan as a prestige project. It was never availbale in any other country. Pretty cool machine back in the days - 486 with color TFT, touch pad, mouse stick, sound card, 2 PCMCIA slots, CF slot, modem and so on. Hell you could even use these as a phone or as an answering machine. Google the details, there's a good article on tankraider.com at the DOS palmtop section... This one comes with loads of accessories - manuals, docking station, floppy discs and so on. Check the pictures. I also throw in a 2Gb CF card that it will boot from - treats it as the C: drive so you can easily throw games on it. I always wanted to play around with this, but never had the time due to family, work and stuff. So I just tested it quickly - threw FreeDOS on the 2GB CF card. I have installed "Sam n Max", the cult adventure game - full CD Talkie version which is pretty cool. Also Sim City 2000. Working all fine with sound and mouse. I also tried installing Windows 3.1 but it only works in "standard mode", i think FreeDOS is not 100% compatible with it...To get most out of this computer i guess you gotta be a DOS guru. The IBM battery is dead as far as i can tell, but the Panasonic one holds some charge. USB travel charger included. Replacement batteries are like 10-20 Dollars on ebay. No idea if the PCMCIA hdd works - i honestly don't know how to use it, so please assume that it is broken. Compared to the 2GB CF it is laughable though as it only has like 260MB capacity, so i didn't really feel like i had to get it working... I always wanted to play some old DOS games on this, but i never really got the time, so that is why i have to sell it - just catching dust here and that doesn't do justice for such an exceptional machine. I have seen ones with cracked cases and missing parts selling for over 500 Euro, so I have set the BIN price high. I am willing to negotiate, so send you offers, but this is no emergency sale, so don't expect me to accept any lowball offers. After all is said and done this laptop is around 20 years old, so no warranty or returns. Please note that DHL does NOT allow any shippings with batteries, so for sales outside of Europe i will send it WITHOUT batteries. I checked and FedEx takes like 150 USD for shipping, UPS something over 100 USD, so just for a battery that is just unreasonable. Especially since you can get any brand new Sony NP-F550 compatible battery (Which will have like double the capacity of the 20 years old original one) for like 10-20 Dollars and it has more capacity than the ones i have. All sales are final, no warranty, no returns!
