(4 Pins on each side. Will fit between 2 female sockets anyway round)
Unlike some cheaper connectors available on Ebay ours are Gold Plated and not the cheap copper or tin ones,
slightly tapered for the very best perfect connection which offers superb connectivity and the tightest fitting
connection to ensure that your LED Strip does not fail if in hot or cold environments.
Uses:
1) Replace lost, missing or broken Pins
2) You can use this connector to extend an existing LED Strip with a new one
(Providing you have the Female connector with wire soldered to the strip)
3) To avoid soldering of multiple units.
Please note that these are very good quality with gold plated pins for the very best lasting connectivity.
4) These are also great for many other projects and the blocks that hold the Pins can be cut into 1, 2, 3 pin terminals.
5) You can cut these LED Strips every so many LED's (Check manufacturers instructions)
for example you could in an extreme case cut a SMD 5050 strip every 3 LED's (in the right place)
and make 100 individual from a 5 Meter (60 LED per Meter) strip but you would also need
Power Adapters or Supply and Controllers for each one you made.
Realistically people make 2 or 3 strips out of a 5 meter strip and for this you would need:
3 Power Supplies and 3 Controllers with Remote (44 Button is best), 1 pack of our pins and possibly
a female connector with wire that needs soldering (If you make it into 3 parts)
You can by these cheaper by bulk and from the East etc. as i had to do myself.
Many of those are cheap and of poor material quality.
But also as most people will not need 50 or 100 of these and are quite happy with 2 to 4 of these.
Besides you wont have to wait 3 weeks for the delivery if you order from us !!
Please note that these are not intended for outside unless you have sealed the connection and
you have the waterproof type of LED Strip (These are usually coated in Silicon)
We do still recommend that you tape up the connector with isolation tape (Electrical) to prevent
moisture and disconnections by tugging of cable or the strip.
