SURFA SAM 30" LONGBOARD

(Actually 29.5")

KALOK TRUCKS

DETROIT SUPER WHEELS

This would date around 71-74, as is when the later deck panel colour and the more advanced KALOK trucks were implemented. Which worked great if you loosed them up for modern short board concrete surfing, but unfortunately alloy trucks cracked easily if pushed...

Essentially predates the global 1974 revival...in Oz.

Near superb condition.

Lite use....doubt was road ridden at all, likely concrete path if that...maybe only sat on and rode on garden path over short period.

No rail scraping or end bumping. Only lightest tail scrape from probably a single wheely kick on back yard path on Christmas morn.

Rubber wheels still have mould seams evident.

All black rubber is intact, even the pin caps.

No cracks or knocks on alloy Kalok trucks.

Deck shows no foot wear, still has original sheen, particularly the white silkscreen ink print which is still glossy. The bits missing on top of GT stripes are factory print imperfections.

Steel bits show oxidation that could easily, with a little time and care be rubbed off.

Red print on label unfortunately has all faded, but some remnant can still be read upon reflection. 'Ada Lane Erskineville' factory.

Sam print is superb!

Happy to send more photos.

Very rare to find on this side of the globe.
