Up for your consideration is this VINTAGE ABU GARCIA "AMBASSADEUR" 6500 C-3 LEVEL-WIND BAIT CASTING REEL Made in SWEDEN. This auction includes the ABU Garcia Ambassadeur 6500 C-3 Bait Casting Reel carefully packaged for the winner. This item comes from the WPC collection out of Minnesota. Our collector has been collecting over 50 years. This collection will take a long time to complete. We suggest keeping an eye out for our listings and adding us to your favorite sellers!
MARKINGS: The head plate reads: Made in Sweden. Head plate rim marked: Ambassadeur 6500 C-3. Tail plate marked: Abu Garcia. The foot plate is stamped: 990503. This has the gold color SWEDISH seal on the tail plate. Exact age unknown.
REEL CONDITION: This reel WORKS AS DESIGNED and is mechanically sound having all parts fully inspected! Plates measure 2-1/2" in diameter. The pillars are 1-7/8" wide. Very very nice reel with minimal use. NO serious scratches or nicks! Has some light scattered soiling. Old line on the spool needs to be switched out prior to any use.
