1968 Omega Seamaster 300 165.024 in an unpolished steel case. All parts are original including the crystal, crown, hands and dial as well as the date matched 1039 bracelet with 516 end links. Serviced sympathetically with genuine Omega parts. The “Big Triangle, No Date” dial was originally designed for issue to Britains MoD before making its way to the civilian models. The case measures 41.5mm excluding original signed crown and was made by Centrale Boises, one of two case makers along side Huguenin Freres.
Bi directional rotating bezel. Original bakelite bezel insert is fully intact with a hairline crack at 3 and 5. The tritium in the numerals has developed a mottled khaki patina. Bezel variation D, one of 7 known variations and correct for the watch.
Original finish black dial in outstanding condition. Original lume has pinpoints at 12 and 6 present and has taken on an olive drab patina. Original baton hour and minute hands, original white second hand. Original logo stamped crystal with minor crazing.
Original 27 Mil Omega cal 550 has been freshly serviced using only genuine parts, runs smoothly and keeps excellent time.
Unpolished 1039 bracelet with 516 end links in excellent condition.
