The Bug Friends and Baby Bugs were issued in 2000 following the popularity of the 1998 Disney Pixar animated movie, A Bug's Life. The series includes nine different Bug friends: Barney Beetle, Florence Flutterfly, Sam Snuffle, Jumpin' Jack, Super Bee, Smart Bee, Sweet Ladybird, Clumsy Worm, and Good-Natured Centipede .  Smart Bee did not come out until 2001.  The following year, crystal version came out in three varieties.  One set was made up of clear crystal heads.  The other two sets were colored crystal with two different color stems for each character.

This listing is for Color Crystal Good Sam Snuffle on an Orange 4.9 Slovenia Stem.  The color in the picture is a little too vibrant. The actual orange color is not as bright. This item comes with no packaging - in other words, loose.
