Der ALFA Tube-U(G) ist eine USB CPE/AP Access Point/Router für den Außenbereich mit hoher Leistung um große Entfernungen zu überbrücken. Er unterstützt den IEEE 802.11g wireless Netzwerk Standard mit 54 Mbps im 2.4GHz Frequenzbreich. Er ist außerdem kompatibel zum IEEE 802.11b Standard mit 11 Mbps. Die Installation ist mit der Verbindung zum USB Anschluss des PC’s oder Laptops sehr schnell und einfach. Zudem kann mittels der mitgelieferten Software das Erkennen und Verwalten von Netzwerken sehr einfach und verständlich. Es werden alle aktuellen Sicherheitsverschlüsselungen unterstützt.

Durch die schnelle, einfache und wetterfeste Installation ist der ALFA Tube vor allem auch für kurzzeitige Aufbauten bzw. Installationen geeignet. Z.B.: Camping- und Zeltplätze, Segelyachten, Boote, u.s.w.
