Porter Cable 7424XP Polisher
The Porter Cable 7424XP
Dual Action Polisher is a beefed up, more powerful version of our most popular
dual action polisher. The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher has all the
user-friendly features of the original Porter Cable 7424, but a 4.5 amp motor
enables enhanced performance and durability. The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action
Polisher operates from 2,500 OPM to 6,800 OPM to provide a faster removal rate.
The 7424XP features all ball and roller bearing construction with spiral/bevel
gears and an improved switch design. The buffer accepts a 5/16-24 spindle
thread. The pad diameter is 6 inches. The polisher includes a wrench,
counterweight installed, side handle, polishing pad, and a operating
manual.

The 5 Inch Backing Plate from Lake Country
Manufacturing is a molded urethane backing plate that is made with steel
struts molded into the center of the plate to give it stability. The urethane
gives the plate some flexibility. The plate will bend slightly at the edges to
compensate for the rounded surfaces of your vehicle. The edge of the plate is
recessed so that you cannot accidentally bump the plate on your vehicle’s paint.
In addition to flexibility, the urethane has an excellent resistance to heat. It
minimizes the transfer of heat to the pad to prevent paint burning. The urethane
also reduces spontaneous heat build-up. Overall, you get a safer polish with the
Dual Action 5 Inch Flexible Backing Plate.

BLACKFIRE Scratch
Resistant Clear Compound is the first step in creating a head-turning shine! It
was developed for OEM applications using the latest German paint care
technology. SRC Compound removes up to 2000 grit sanding scratches on fresh
paint and an impressive range of imperfections from cured paint finishes. This
is a companion product to BLACKFIRE SRC Finishing Polish designed to remove
deeper (1500 - 2000 grit) swirls, scratches and defects in ceramic particle and
scratch-resistant clear coats.

Scratch Resistant Clear Finishing Polish
BLACKFIRE Scratch
Resistant Clear Finishing Polish can be used to refine the paint after
compounding or as a one-step shine enhancing polish. This fine car polish uses
nano abrasives to remove 2500-3000 grit sanding marks on fresh paints and to
correct mild imperfections on cured paints. BLACKFIRE Scratch Resistant Clear
Finishing Polish was developed to remove minor blemishes from the new generation
of ceramic, scratch resistant clear coats being used by more and more auto
manufacturers. This paint is harder to scratch than a traditional clear coat,
and the scratches that do occur are harder to remove.
5.5 inch CCS Orange Light Cutting Pad
The
orange pad can remove 2000 grit sanding traces, swirls and paint defects leaving
behind little surface dullness when used with the proper polishing compounds.
Often times, intermediate polishing steps can be skipped due to this
characteristic. In cases where additional polishing is necessary, such as on
black or red cars, it can be accomplished in less time than with traditional
pads. Use this pad to remove swirls, water spots and fine
scratches.
5.5 inch Hi-Gloss CCS White Polishing
Pad
This is the most frequently used pad. This pad offers mild
cutting action and can be used to effectively apply light compounds, polishes
and one-step cleaner waxes and one-step polishes and sealants.
