On May 6, 1966, Bud Gardner started building his brand of beautiful surfboards. On May 6, 2015, Bud Gardner started his 50th year of building his brand of beautiful surfboards and in all that time, he has personally shaped and colored each and every one of them. He is one of the last original surfboard builders from the 60's still building superior surfboards and was honored in 2008 by being nominated for Induction into the East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame in the Pioneer Surfboard Builders Division and on January 15th, 2010, Bud Gardner was officially inducted into the East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame.

SURFBOARD TABLES!

This Bud Gardner Longboard Surfboard Table is about 50% scale, 5' 0".  It is hand shaped with 5 stringers, - Balsawood and Redwood  "T-band" center stringer, and two 1/8" Redwood outside stringers, 50/50 egg rails, square tail.  Redwood and Balsawood laminated nose and tail blocks with a glass-on classic "Rising Sun" wood laminated longboard skeg.  Laminated with 2 layers of 7 1/2 oz. fiberglass top and bottom. Glossed and polished. Color...."Old School" hand brushed pigmented black resin pinlines outlining color blend stripes with total blue airbrush.  Bud Gardner has personally shaped and built these tables doing all phases of construction just like full sized surfboards with the same amount of highly skilled work going into each one. The table base for the surfboard is made out of Maple wood personally designed and built by Bud Gardner. The table base comes apart in three pieces held together by two pegs. The surfboard will not fall off of the base, but can be easily lifted at any time. Can anyone guess how that's done?...Nope, it's not done with velcro?  These tables are an original idea from Bud Gardner and production is limited.  They are very difficult to produce and that's why no other surfboard company is producing them and that's why they are only available from Bud Gardner.  The Chinese will not build these surfboard tables because they are hand made and not pop outs.  Buy American! There are 9 more pictures of this beautiful Bud Gardner surfboard table below this description.
