Main Description

This fine vintage Tudor* gentleman's watch has a genuine stainless steel Oyster case.

The off white watch face is fitted with blued steel, luminescent pencil hands, a plain central seconds hand and has luminescent numerical 'even' hour markers set alternately between circular hour markers.

The chapter ring which encircles the dial is clearly annotated with numerical 5 minute indicators in addition to linear minute and second markers.

The dial displays the 'Tudor, Oyster' name below the rose logo, in addition to the text 'Shock Resisting'.

The stainless steel Oyster case is plain and unmarked to the reverse apart from the model number 25911 and serial number 45**.

The interior of the case displays the factory engraved Tudor name in addition to 'Geneva, Switzerland, Patented'.

This man's watch is fitted with a replacement black leather watchstrap with a traditional tang style buckle.

This 1950's manual wind wrist watch is fitted with a EVA 17 jewel Swiss movement**.

NOTE *The founder of Rolex (1908) Hans Wilsdorf first introduced Tudor watches worldwide in 1946.

** The most important difference between Rolex and Tudor in the 1940's was the movement supplied by Ebauches SA, ETA. The Rolex company still places value today on the fact that the modified automatic calibers by ETA are 'especially made for Tudor'.

Condition

This genuine Tudor wrist watch is in excellent condition with clear marks to the exterior and interior of the case.
