DescriptionYou are viewing a beautiful, Vintage 1960's Marl Light Brown Patent Vinyl Double-Flapped Hand Shoulder Bag! The bag is classic in shape for a 1960's day bag and is made out of what I think is a marl light brown patent leather look fabric! The bag has two compartments, each with a fold-over flap closure, both of which have a plastic snap fastening. The flaps lift to reveal a toning brown taffetta lining, which has no significant stains. There is a flat, open mirror pocket at the back of the back compartment. Each flap has a gold metal edge, which are a little worn. The bag has double carry handles, made out of gold metal chain, or you could let one side go to lengthen the chain into a shoulder chain. This is a gorgeous bag, with just some light marks/ dents/ scratches, which can only be seen up close owing to the reflective nature of the fabric. With a buff-up with some leather cleaner and a microfibre cloth, some of the marks should clean away, or be lessened at least. The bag is otherwise in good condition, and has years of wear left in it! It's made in a style much favoured by 60's style icons such as Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy, and more recently, modelled by the girls of PanAm! Please note that any white marks on the bag, or dark marks on the metal edges, in the photos, are reflections of windows etc, and not flaws! Please ensure you supersize the photos to see all the details of the bag before you place a bid. The bag measures approx: 8 1/8" across at it's widest point, and is approx 5 1/2" high, and is 2 1/4" deep. I accept payment by cheque, postal order and PayPal only! Goods are sent when cheques have cleared. Non UK pay by PayPal only! The winner must contact me within 1 day of winning the auction, and payment must be recieved within 3 days. I report all unpaid items to ebay after 4 days, and if items remain unpaid, I will close the dispute, which will remain on your record. Sorry if you think this is harsh, but owing to an ever-increasing number of unpaid items, I have to protect my income.
Shipping
I recomend signed-for delivery for all items! If signed-for delivery is not requested, I am not liable for ANY items that are lost in the post, as ordinary post is not trackable! Only UK Recorded Delivery, Special Delivery, and International Signed-for Delivery/ Airsure are trackable! Postage charges include actual postage, packaging AND handling, which includes my time.
Terms of Sale
Items are bought as seen and described so no come-backs! I do not give refunds for Vintage and used items unless they have been seriously mis-represented in the listing! Measurements are given and descriptions on items are as accurate as possible, and I describe items to the best of my knowledge and my ability. Please assume that Vintage goods, or goods that are listed as used, have been previously used and loved, so please do not expect 'as new' unless this is clealy stated in the listing! Any new goods must be returned within 5 working days. Refunds for new goods only applies to the price of the item. Postage is not refundable under any circumstances!
