HORSE FIGURE
This Beautiful Old Buddhist or Hindu Horse Effigy Statue is made of Hand Carved Wood covered with sections of Hand Hammered Copper and Brass.
We were told this Horse (along with our other statue of an Elephant) once proudly stood in the gardens of a temple outside of Nyalam, Tibet very near to the border of Nepal.
The local people would carry these Effigies through the streets in some manner of celebration.
This is a Very Unique Item and most likely, you will never have the opportunity to acquire something like this again.
This Horse Figure is in Good Condition for its age. We're not sure of its exact age, but it dates somewhere from the late 1800's to the early 1900's.

This Detailed Bronze and Copper over Carved Wood Horse Statue measures approx. 35 1/4" tall by about 37" long and is approx. 10" wide. We have an image of an adult female beside the Horse as well as a cola can next to the Horse to help give you a better idea of the actual size.
You can display this Work of Art in your Home, Office, Museum or in any Garden setting.
The reason we are now selling most all of our wonderful antiques is because we are getting up in years and decided to start clearing out many vintage and antique items from the collection we've acquired over the past few decades.
