Additional Information:

About this Auction:  This slide comes from the vast railroad and transit slide & negative collection of my deceased father, Howard J. Wayt (1935-1998).  The majority of the slides date to the 1960s and 1970s.  Many images were taken by my father, but many others were bought or traded for from other collectors/photographers.

Most of the slides mounts include information about the date, location, photographer, type of film, if it is a duplicate, etc.  I will provide this information when available. Otherwise, I will leave the space blank.

About the Scans:  No color correction or other alterations are used when scanning (except in rare, noted instances).  What you see is what my scanner gets, and I think they accurately represent their actual appearance.  I hope you will agree, but if for some reason you do not please contact me to resolve the issue

Many of these images could no doubt be improved greatly with Photoshop or other editing tools.  However, I prefer to show them as they actually are.  .

The image, itself, is a low resolution 150 dpi scan.  Before scanning, I quickly dust the slides, which often does not remove all of the dust/lint from surface of the film.  In some instances, the dust may be intrinsic to the image itself.  Should you have concern on a particular slide, I will do my best to re-scan and check for you.

NEW SHIPPING POLICY: Due to recent excessive slide losses at the hands of the Post Office, all packages will now feature tracking.  As a result, the base price of my shipping in the US is now $2.50 for the first slide and $0.25 for each additional slide.  If you have special shipping requests (such as "signature confirmation" or others), please write me and I will do my best to accommodate.  Due to the large number of packages I sent, it may not always be possible. But I will try my best.

Safe packing is always guaranteed.

Returns:  No returns accepted, but if you feel the item is not properly represented, please contact me to resolve the issue.
