This beautiful needle felting kit by Hawthorn Handmade contains everything you need to create a lovely little bee brooch to wear or give as a gift.

SIZE OF COMPLETED KIT: This kit will make a bee of approximately 5cm.

I am supplying this kit with a separate 7” block of needle felting foam for you to work on so you will have everything you need. You will receive your kit in a cute little box with a separate 7” square of foam. If you prefer to purchase a kit without the foam, please contact me by email.

Each Hawthorn Handmade kit is designed by fibre artist Stephanie Carswell & made in Britain. The kits are gorgeous with very high quality wool & easy-to-follow instructions. A perfect way to try a new craft or develop your skills.

You’ll use the barbed felting needles to stab the wool into life, creating a beautiful woolly masterpiece to treasure forever. Each kit has all the British wool you’ll need to make your very own Bee Brooch, 2 felting needles in case you break one, a silver coloured brooch back to turn it into a wearable piece and our step by step instructions with 12 colour photos that will guide through the whole process from start to finish. The tips along the way will not only help you create what’s on the box but also teach you how to needle felt so you can continue to discover the joys of this wonderful craft without instruction (though we are always here to help if needed!).

Please note that due to the very sharp needles we only recommend our kits for children over 10 years old. You will need a foam block to work on which you can add as an optional extra below.
