This exceptional Victorian pearl necklace has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.
The necklace features three flower shaped links, interconnected via trefoil leaf and bud designs.
The central floral motif is the largest of the three flowers and is ornamented with a feature 0.32ct Old European round cut diamond and five pairs of seed pearls.
The supporting flowers are embellished with a central seed pearl in addition to the five pairs of pearls that embellish the petals.
The four 15ct yellow gold, elongated, shaped, leaf and bud decorated links that complete the anterior design are also embellished with 2-3mm seed pearls.
The feature link arrangement is suspended via an integrated, twisted rope style gold chain which secures to the reverse with a push fit cylindrical catch hallmarked with the 15ct gold fineness mark (15).
This 1890's necklace is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
Condition
This impressive Victorian pearl necklace is exceptional quality, displaying eight-eight well colour matched seed pearls.
The necklace is a very good gauge of gold and in excellent condition.
The 15ct hallmark to the catch is not worn, but is partially illegible as it has been struck slightly off centre.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this exceptional example of Victorian craftsmanship.
