Please ensure that the capacitor is installed the correct way, failure to do so may result in damage to the watch movement. Do not remove the old capacitor before you are ready to fit the replacement. Make a note before removal of which way the cell fits and the direction that the brass connector is installed.

If you are unsure of how to relace the cell most small jewellers who fit watch batteries on site should be able to help.

Once the capacitor is installed relace the watch back and leave exposed to light for 24 hours. If this does not solve the problem the watch may require a full service, please contact us on for further help
