Simbersite Egg (Fossil Ammonite) - Russia

Here's an incredible stone in an incredible egg. It is fossil ammonite, simbersite, from Russia

This egg has a very interesting cavity at the top. The point of the egg forms a dome over the cavity which is frosted and has some botryoidal crystals. There are two more cavities on the body of the egg. 

Its approximate weight is 13 oz, and it is about 3.23" tall or 82.2 mm and 2.23" wide.

This Simbersite egg is an outstanding collector's item.

The pictures were taken outdoors in sunlight and color differences from the actual stone are possible.
