Original NOS new old stock pair of Firestone Gum Dipped mud & snow tread aggresive knob type of tires size 525-550-18 inch 4 ply. They are called "Studded Ground Grip" and have never been mounted and are in excellent new condition with no cracking or crazing or damage. They still have the little tips or nubs coming out of the tread areas and have been well stored in dry dark storage for many years. They are marked as Made In USA and are likely manufactured a little later than the early 1930s when this size was used. The tread depth is about 1/2" with a deeper 3/4" at the edges. They measure about 5" inches wide at the tread and stand 29" inches tall. The Made In USA markings have these numbers below it. I don't know if they are mfg numbers. "1 AD 6587-3".


Some of the 1932 Fords used the 525-550-18 tire size plus a few other makes of cars around that time period. The estate where these were purchased had several Model As over the years plus a 1932 Ford V8 pickup at one time, family thought it may have been saved for the 32 but never used.
This pair would make a great original period snow tire for your original 1932 Ford.
