Much better than using heavy duty Mono to the Hook.

Conger Can Spin on your line and cut through Heavy Mono like butter but not this wire.

Any Fish with Powerful sharp teeth will cut through Mono or Braid but not this super power wire.

For Conger and most Predatory Fish a 2ft to 3ft long Steel wire trace is all that is needed but you can add nylon to make a longer flowing trace.

For Shark a 6ft long Trace is recommended  with one or two  Heavy duty swivel in the middle  and at one end of trace.
