The sanshin, a precursor of the Japanese shamisen, is a traditional musical instrument of Okinawa, located in the southwestern islands of Japan. Often likened to a banjo, it traditionally consists of a snakeskin covered body, neck and three strings.

 

We are an official and exclusive online shop of asobi sanshins for all international customers. You find here a new range of original wooden series made in Okinawa, Japan. They can be maintained easily by yourself and especially are much more solid than snakeskin covered ones.
