The shutter is working fine.
* Shutter speeds: B, 1/2-1/1250 sec., synchronization with flash at 1/25 and more long shutter speeds.
The camera has cable connection PC "synchro" socket only.
* The lens: Jupiter-8M 1:2.0 F=50mm is a copy of Zeiss Sonnar, Contax external bayonet. Early lenses are with red P index, but later on all Soviet lenses became coated and the index was removed since 1960th years.
NOTE: Soviet lens manufacturers wrote even about NEW lenses:
"The components of modern high quality lenses are produced from special grades of glass. The smelting process involved causes inevitable formation of gasses which get trapped in the glass to form bubbles. They are always noticed with complex photographic lenses. The bubbles do not affect the lens performance or the quality of the image. Soviet state standards also allows the presence of next minor defects: scratches with the width less than 0.02mm at each surface of each optical element with total length no more than double element's diameter; dots with diameter less than 0.3mm no more than 5 dots; several minor pieces of dust and no more 2 napkin fibers with the length no more 3mm. Therefore, the factory does not accept claims about bubbles and minor defects of clearance found in lenses or exchange such lenses."

Shipping time is mostly about 2-3 weeks to receive the item as Registered Air Mail package with the tracking number (or by registered and insured Air Mail parcel for heavy items), but sometimes (but not very often) it can be up to two month.
If you need really fast shipping, DHL and UPS are available here, but shipping a metal 35mm camera can cost over $100, thus this kind of shipping is rarely used.
All items are packed in solid carton boxes with soft material inside to protect your item on its long way to your home.
We mark all the packages and parcels as a "Gift", with low custom's value, thus You'll have the chance avoid extra taxes at Your country. However Custom's officers can have own opinion regarding it and can require taxes, it will not our problem, sorry please.
Tracking numbers are available now, but mostly we can track our packages inside Russia only, then you can look for it at national postal service of your country... just ask me please if you need the tracking number.

SPECIAL NOTICE TO BUYERS IN ITALY Recently we have had problems with parcels sent to 200xx postal codes (Milano province) that were returned by Poste Italiane for unknown reasons. We have not had problems with parcels to other postal codes in Italy, but until this can be resolved we can't be absolutely sure your item(s) will arrive promptly. If your parcel is returned to us, we are prepared to re-ship at extra shipping cost, or we can refund your cost minus the original shipping/handling charges.

Customer Satisfaction is our top priority. We TRY to check everything as best we can, and describe it as accurately as possible. Since we sell mostly used items, don't expect "mint" condition in most cases! We are not in love with the words "perfect" and "mint", as so many here seem to be, when dealing with older, used equipment.
The item can be exchanged or the payment for the item can be refunded in case of receiving the wrong item. The item should be returned to the seller in the origin package and the complete set. We prefer and arrange maintenance or exchanging the item to make You 100% satisfied. We prefer this way, but the choice is still yours. Payment will be refunded in amount of item cost, except you pay shipping cost.
No any returns or refunds for items in AS-IS condition, please read descriptions and examine photos carefully!
Shipping time below two months is NOT sufficient reason to claim a refund, because Russian Mail can be a bit slow even with airmail, but mostly we see 2-3 weeks shipping time worldwide.
