Change has come to the QTR-3 "Templeton Peck" knife and you'll certainly notice it. The new QTR-3F is nearly 40% lighter and sports a nearly 30% slimmer profile. It has a titanium framelock with a dual-purpose steel lock bar insert to improve longevity of the mechanism and a built-in over travel stop. The tanto style blade remains more than capable at 3/16" thick and utilizes a flipper for one-hand opening. Something is different about the blade: thumb studs have been removed and an elongated thumb hole has been added. The handle utilizes the ORB Pivot System G-10 scales and a steel plug opposite the reversible tip-up carry pocket clip.
