NewOldStock Honda CT70 ENGINE - NOS NEW IN BOX - 1978 CT70K7 - Fits 1969 to 1990
This is a New Old Stock Genuine Factory Honda CT70 Engine in the original box!! This is about as new as it gets! I found this under some boxes in our parts department! Has the original paperwork in the box, we received this in 1979!! This has never been installed in a motorcycle! If you put this in your CT70 and started it, you would be the first one to do so in the USA or any other country...except Japan you would be the second person IF it was test run!
The engine turns over so it is not frozen. The plastic bag it was in is not in the best condition and the bag of silica gel was torn open. The only damage or marks I see is the clutch cover has some stains and some paint is rubbed off from the box. Honda didn't pack very well back in 1979! I think that was because it was a trail bike made to ride in the trails!! THIS MAY BE A ONCE IN A LIFETIME FIND!! The motor number is CT70E-2706463. This engine has been discontinued by Honda. This will be shipped in the original box inside of another box, and packed better than Honda did in 1979! And, the Honda wrench is not included, I just used it to keep the paper flat. This will fit the following years and model:
1978 - Honda CT70'78 (Trail 70) CT70K7 - The serial number is in the 1978 serial number range.
This will also fit and work on all CT70's from 1969 to 1990.
For all of you Vintage Honda owners, especially on the east coast, the
28th Annual Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Meet and Show
held at the White Rose Motorcycle Club south of York, Pennsylvania, should be on your calendar of places to go this year! This year they have designated "The Year of the Honda CB750"!!! Get the word out, it will be cool to see! This meet is 99% all vintage Japanese motorcycles and parts, any make, not just Honda. The meet is August 19, 20 and 21.
