A stunning high quality sterling silver and guilloche enamel cigarette case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1959 with the maker’s marks being T&S for Turner & Simpson. It has been beautifully designed having an engine turned reverse and stunning white guilloche enamelled front with a rose design. The insides have been gilded. It is in outstanding condition. The enamel is free from chips cracks scratches and repairs. The inside is clean, the gilding thick. The hinge is strong and the catch works perfectly. It measures 3.25 inches (8.7cms) long by 2.75 inches (7cms) wide and weighs 99 grams. A very high quality piece.
