When I pointed to him his palms slipped slightly, leaving greasy sweat streaks on the wall, and he hooked his thumbs in his belt. A strange spasm shook him, as if he heard fingernails scrape slate, but as I gazed at him in wonder the tension slowly drained from his face. His lips parted into a timid smile, and our neighbor’s image blurred with my sudden tears.

“Hey, Boo,” I said.

Here we offer the special deluxe gift edition of Harper Lee's classic 1960 novel, To Kill a Mockingbird.  This was only made in 2006 in this special form. It is in a deluxe and gilted slipcase and protected by a facsimile dust cover that features the rear cover photo of the author, credited to Truman Capote. The cloth binding features a page-holding ribbon and high-quality paper. This book is in mint condition, still in its plastic seal, but the rear cover sheet with UPC code has been scratched through the plastic to keep it from being resold (please see pic) as retail.  The other pictures are of an opened item identical to this one.

This will make a beautiful addition to your collection or a very special gift.
