I am at a loss as to the date of publication because the book is still sealed in shrink wrap. There is a slit in the top of the shrink wrap where an index card was slid in with "1st Place April 24, 1997" written on it.

I have several books with these cards inside. The "winners" in weapon shows received books instead of plaques. (that is what one of the other cards said)

So this book is in new condition less any toning or damage that could have been caused by the index card being slipped between two pages by slitting the shrink wrap.

The publisher emblem at the base of the spine is two  of the Letter "R" back to back. That appears to be a company named R&R books which printed this book in 1993.

You will not actually come across a new copy anywhere
