The air guitar plays chords, so perfect for power riffs (Deep purple style my favorite of the songs available) but not so for solo, super fast picking is close to impossible for me, but at a slower pace it is very nice. It is true that it produces good (overdrive style guitar) sound, you can even play 7th chords by the press of a button, it is a real instrument.

Handy audio jacks input(! play along your ipod's music!!!) and output (sound really good on quality headphones, way better than the small embedded speaker). Fun!
