PCB for building a Vacuum tube Bass Preamp

Based on the classic 'Lembic F-2B Bass preamp

The Down and Dirty:

Designed for these component Specs/Parts:

Electrolytic caps - Lead spacing 0.100"/2.5mm; Lead diameter .030"

.047uf = Voltage = Minimum 400v; Lead spacing 15mm; Lead diameter .034"
Vishay Roederstein MKT1822347405

0.1uf = Voltage = Minimum 400v; Lead spacing 7.5mm Lead diameter .030"
Wima MKS4G031002E00KSSD

1000pf = Voltage = Minimum 400v; Lead spacing .200/5.08mm and .300/7.5mm; Lead diameter .034"

330pf = No minimum voltage; Lead spacing .200/5.08mm and .300/7.5mm; Lead diameter .034"

Resistors = vishay dale CCF60 Lead diameter .035"

The 1000pf and 330pf are run in series to give us a capacitance of approximately 248pf. Schematic spec is 250pf.
The 1000pf is first, and is easier to source in higher voltages than the 330pf.
You can also use a 250pf silver mica if you want, with the use of a jumper across the pads of either the 1000pf or 330pf, the 250pf in the other spot. Keep in mind the lead diameter and spacing.

Plate and cathode resistor values on board are for using a 12at7. For a 12ax7, you would use 100k and 1.5k respectively.

Whats Included:

PCB
2pcs Nylon Board standoffs

Definitions for wire pads on the board:

In = Input from input jack
Gr = Ground
G = Grid
K = Cathode
P = Plate
T = Treble
M = Middle
B = Bass
V = send to output jack
B+ = High Voltage hookup

This is a kit for the advanced builder, who knows the ins and outs of tube gear.

Schematic shown is for DC heaters, using either a dropping resistor (knowledge of ohm's law is needed to choose your correct dropping resistor) or a much easier 12v regulator. (12v 1a or higher is recommended, using either a heatsink plus ground or connection directly to the chassis for heatsinking and ground)

One of a myriad ways of laying this preamp out is in the pictures.
It is not a suggestion, just how I build this preamp.
An optional 10ohm ground loop busting resistor is shown hanging from the HV supply

Simple and "bassic" preamp. Sounds great with bass and guitar, IMO.
It can get some grit, but it is mostly a clean preamp.
